A Word from our President...
Hello Everyone! We had a great November meeting! For those of you who could not attend, I invite you to check out our new website at www.AWBO.org. It looks great! A big thank you to Kerri Wagner, Isabel Hogue, and Nicole Gebhardt for all their hard work moving the information from our previous website. If you are a member and have not received information on how to log in to the Members Only Section, please contact our Vice Presidents of Membership: Angela Tamer, angela@redfox-flowers.com, or Melissa Barrett, pmbarrett@prepaidlegal.com.
I want to thank Michael Dick from IS Photographic for coming to our November meeting to take headshots. All of the money collected from this will go to support a woman business owner through Kiva.org. We raised $250.00! If you had a headshot done and would like to nominate a business owner, please visit Kiva.org and send your nominations to me at julie@LafayettePC.com.
The holiday season is definitely upon us and I am looking forward to our December meeting! At our December meeting, The Association of Women Business Owners will host an auction and raffle to support The Cary Home for Girls. This event is always fun and I hope to see everyone on the 13th!
- Julie Rubsam
