Next meeting topic for Tuesday, March 11th at Noon:

Need a Staff or Intern?

Find out what CCO has to offer

This year we have learned about “generational differences” and how to “connect the dots” within the workplace. Now it is time to move forward with what we have learned and connect with one of the greatest resources available to us as local women business owners - Purdue University.

There are thousands of young, educated, eager to work individuals pouring into the workforce every year.  Student interns and newly graduated from Purdue University are ready to share their skills and experience in a professional environment. Why toss a ‘help wanted’ out into the ether when you can target your search to a specific group of qualified individuals? Their fresh perspective and understanding of technology may speak directly to a need you may have.

Susan Hychka, Associate Director of the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO), Purdue University, will share with AWBO members the many ways in which the CCO can assist employers with their recruitment and hiring needs. Who knows…this link may be where your next best intern or staff person is found.

"Thank you" from Pam Rhode-Thalls...
I wanted to let all you girls know how blessed I am to be a part of the AWBO family.  After we found out that my cancer has returned, I have received text's, gotten card's and my inbox has been flooded with emails of encouragement.  This past month has been hard and trying, but I know that there is going to be a better outcome that will come of this.  My God is bigger than this cancer and I will beat it!

Please keep me in your prayers...I will take them all!
