As professionals, we often find ourselves in situations -planned or impromptu- where we must address a group of individuals or a large audience. Whether we are asked to give a presentation or speak off the cuff, such situations can elicit panic and anxiety. How often have you heard someone assert that they LOVE to speak in front of a group? It’s rare.Join us on Tuesday, February 5th to hear Clyde Hughes from Toastmasters discuss the advantages of improving your public speaking skills. He plans to incorporate a few volunteers into hispresentation while emphasizing how “fun” public speaking can be. This presentation will not be an ‘intro to public speaking’, but tailored to professionals who have experience standing before a group.
