Join us at the AWBO November membership meeting where we will learn about the benefits of Mentoring Relationships. Mentorship is a powerful way to learn, grow, and achieve your goals. But did you know that having more than one mentor can multiply your benefits?
Come and discover why you should seek out mentors with different skills, backgrounds, and perspectives, and how to find them. You will learn how mentorship is a two-way street, and how you can give back to your mentors as much as you receive from them. Whether you are looking for a mentor, or already have one, our brief time together will inspire you to expand your network and enrich your learning experience.
Sandra Sydnor is an Associate Professor and the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Purdue University.
Sandra Sydnor, M.B.A., Ph.D has over 20 years of industry experience as a multi-unit restaurant franchisee and executive leadership positions in marketing research and communication agencies. Dr. Sydnor collaborates with multiple stakeholders (community, business, university, and affinity stakeholder groups) to define, understand, measure, and communicate.
She chairs the Entrepreneurship Research Society; an Innovation and Entrepreneur Fellow in the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research; a Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the College of Health and Human Sciences as well as the White Lodging - J.W. Marriott, Jr. School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University. Her research spans business resilience and mindfulness.
