THE NON PROFITS' ROLE IN A ROBUST COMMUNITY

Have you ever wondered how the nonprofit sector impacts our local community? Try this little thought experiment... think of 3 non profit organizations that you are aware of and imagine if they disappeared tomorrow.  What voids would be created in our communities?  Now... multiply that by 100 (because there are many nonprofits we don't know about!) and imagine the devastation to our communities.  Paints an ugly picture doesn't it?

A healthy and robust community must have a healthy and robust non profit sector to thrive.  Join us as we present a panel of local experts, Scott Walker, CEO of Greater Lafayette Commerce, Michael Budd, CEO of United Way of Greater Lafayette, and Marie Morse, CEO of Homestead Consulting, as we explore the critical role that businesses play in supporting the missions of non profit organizations.  Beyond the financial contributions that we all immediately think of...we will discuss "creative" ways businesses can engage with and encourage the success of our community nonprofit partners!

Cost to attend the meeting is $5.  An optional lunch is available for $16 (meeting cost included). The plated lunch will include a gluten free entree,  vegetables, salad, dessert, and beverage.  Vegetarian option is available by selecting Meeting + Vegetarian meal when you register.
