We are excited to introduce the AWBO Empowerment Fund—an initiative, in alignment with AWBO’s vision and mission, that is dedicated to empowering women by providing scholarship opportunities for college-bound women and micro-grants to women entrepreneurs launching or growing their businesses. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by January 1, 2025, to seed this fund and start making a tangible impact. Your generous contribution can help us turn this vision into a reality, providing women in our community the resources they need to unlock their potential and achieve their goals.

We understand that giving is a big decision, and we want to make it as convenient as possible for you.  With our flexible payment options, you can divide your donation into smaller, manageable monthly contributions while still making a big impact!

Here's how to make a recurring donation amount:

Fill out the contact information, if needed.  

Enter your desired payment amount and then select the desired frequency.

Be sure to check the "I'm not a robot" box.

Click the "Donate" button and you're all set!

Example: if you would like to donate $100.00 monthly, for a total contribution of $1200.00 for the year, enter $100.00 in the amount box and select monthly.  That's it!

AWBO Empowerment Fund Campaign

Giving Levels & Benefits for 2024-2025

Empowerment Champion   - Donation: $1,000+

   - Benefits: Premium recognition at all events, name/logo on website and recognition in monthly newsletter, social media spotlight, personalized thank-you, and VIP seating at all AWBO events for the 2025 calendar year.

Leadership Partner - Donation: $750 - $999   

- Benefits: Recognition at major events, name/logo on website, social media mention, and a thank-you plaque.

Advocate- Donation: $500 - $749

   - Benefits: Recognition at events, name on website, social media acknowledgment, and a personalized thank-you letter.

Inspiration Supporter- Donation: $250 - $499

   - Benefits: Recognition on website, social media mention, and a thank-you certificate.

Community Contributor- Donation: $100 - $249

   - Benefits: Recognition on the website, one edition of our monthly newsletter and a thank-you card.

Friend of AWBO- Donation: Up to $99

   - Benefits: Mention in one edition of our monthly newsletter and a thank-you note.


The Association of Women Business Owners offers a place for women who own and operate their own businesses to meet, network and share ideas and encouragement.

We offer many benefits to our members including monthly programs, email newsletter, web site with your business listed in our online directory, opportunities to promote your business to other members and more.

You're Invited to Join Us!

AWBO meets on the second Tuesday of each month. 

Lunch is served at 11:15am with the meeting beginning at 11:30 am.  You may reserve a meal when registering for the meeting under out Events Page. 

Our monthly meetings are held at the Lafayette Country Club, located at 1500 S 9th Street, Lafayette, IN.  See the Events page for more information, including lunch reservations, on each monthly meeting.

Membership is open to women who own or are partners in a business and are active in the day-to-day operation of that business.

Independent contractors or those who work on commission and file a Schedule C with the IRS are also eligible.

Associate Members are  woman in positions that support and reflect the mission of AWBO even though they are not business owners. They must be nominated by an active AWBO member by application.  Please contact us by email for more detailed information.
